Hi, I'm Stephanie Gallagher for www.flamencoflowers.com and today, we're making a 
kosher dairy chocolate banana cake. Let's get started.

Ingredients for the Kosher Chocolate Banana Cake

For this recipe, you will need:

3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup butter, softened to room temperature
1-2/3 cups sugar
2 large eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips

Prepare the Kosher Chocolate Banana Cake

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the bananas in a large bowl, and mash them with a potato masher.

Place the butter in another large bowl, and add the sugar. Beat with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after you add each one.

Place the sour cream in a small bowl, and add the baking powder and baking soda. Stir until they're dissolved.

Now fold the sour cream mixture into the cake batter. Add the mashed bananas, and stir them in. Now beat with an electric mixer until the batter is nice and smooth.

Add one cup of the flour, and beat that in. Then add the other cup of flour and beat that in. Now scrape down the sides, add the vanilla, and stir it in.

Next add the chocolate chips, and stir them in.

Bake the Kosher Chocolate Banana Cake

Pour the batter into a baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

Bake for 45 minutes. The cake is done when a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. And here's your chocolate banana cake.
